Rare capture of Madhubala from 1952

This precious picture of Madhubala was mailed to us by our reader. This is Taranasaz (Afghan music director) and MadhuBala in the year 1952.

Madhubala was born as Mumtaz Jahan Begum Dehlavi in New Delhi, India, on 14 February 1933 in a Muslim family from Afghanistan. It was a Nawabi family of Kabul, branch of the royal dynasty of the Mohammadzay (called also Barakzay). Her grandparents were exiled by Afghanistan's army to India. She was the fifth child among eleven children of a conservative Muslim couple.
