Aamir Khan is a brilliant filmmaker who leaves his fans wanting for more and that seems to not be changing anytime soon. Entertainment tabloids are reporting that Aamir's production home has rejected 200 scripts in 12 months. Many of these scripts are by reputed filmmakers such as Vishal Bhardwaj, Pradeep Sarkar, Priyadarshan and Rohit Shetty.
The production home receives around 10-15 scripts per month, which are then evaluated by a three-sound system before getting the final nod. During the first round, the production home officials analyze the script and if the script makes it to the second round, they send a letter to the script-writer with Aamir's signature on it stating that Aamir will review it shortly. The third round is when Aamir personally reads the scripts, often in his leisure time which could vary from 6 months or more, and if he senses even a small hint of any borrowed ideas, then he rejects the script outright.
It also seems like after 'Talaash', Aamir's production home does not have any films in schedule. The fans will surely have to wait patiently.
