Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu had openly shown their displeasure when Sonam and Deepika had ridiculed Ranbir Kapoor on national television, in Karan Johar's chat show. Since then there was awkwardness that existed between the two Kapoor families. However, news has it that things are getting back to normal now.
We now hear that Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor are getting along quite famously on the sets of their next film. For both of them, water has passed under the bridge and all that is said and done, has already been forgotten.
Sources on the set say that the two have been discussing a lot about movies and finer points of cinema. A source says, “Sonam had come down heavily on Ranbir on Karan Johar’s chat show a few years ago. Sonam had been linked with RK while they were shooting of Sawaariya. Together she and Deepika Padukone ridiculed him on National Television. And it didn’t go down well with his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. The senior Kapoor had made no bones about his displeasure and anger at Sonam.”
However everything is back to being normal. Both the actors are seen being friendly with each other and discussing a lot of cinema and Bollywood in general.
