For her last appearance at Cannes, for amfAR’s 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS gala event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a gold-themed Tarun Tahiliani saree in line with the "Ultimate Gold Collection Fashion Show" which she was attending.
The gold netted saree was complimented with a gold colored blouse, clutch and earrings. My biggest peeve her is the blouse. With the camera flashes on, it is not one of the most flattering material.
With a collar blouse, she had to go for an updo which is understandable. But this all gold look just did not work for me. Aishwarya being Aishwarya, managed to pull it off, but on someone else, this would have been a disaster.
Thoughts ? Did Aishwarya end her Cannes 2013 appearances on a golden note?
