Happy Birthday to the multitalented Karan Johar, the man that truly puts the magic into movies!
Whether its his iconic directorial projects( Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, K3G, SOTY) or his bitchy tv show (Koffee With Karan), his pathbreaking productions (Wake Up Sid, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Dostana, Kurbaan, Agneepath), or his friendship with almost every star worth their salt (Kajol, SRK, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan) , Karan Johar has been in the spotlight since his directorial debut in 1998.
Despite 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hain' being released in 1998, Kjo appeared in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and also assisted selecting SRK's clothes for his earlier films. Then KKHH happened , and the rest, as they say is history. Now 5 films (KKHH, K3G, KANK, SOTY, MNIK) and one short directorial in Bollywood's tribute to 100 years in cinema (Bombay Talkies), Kjo remains one of the most sought after directors. His next project remains under much speculation, with everyone from SRK, Kareena, Saif, Hrithik, Aishwarya and Katrina rumoured to have been in talks with him.
His production house Dharma, has also rapidly become one of the most prestigious banners in the industry with several hit projects.
