Sunny Leone is looking for an image change in Bollywood. After scorching the screens with her dare-bare avatar in Pooja Bhatt's Jism 2, she is now seeking to work hard to get the right roles.
Leone has signed on Ekta Kapoor's horror film 'Ragini MMS 2' as her next feature, and she starts shooting for the film in January. Additionally, she will also be giving her first live dance performance at the new year's celebration organised by Studio 169 in New Delhi.
"I am not a veteran actress. I am just one film old. But I am ready to learn, I am a good learner. I want people to take me seriously. I want to be offered good roles in film so that I get the opportunity to prove myself. I am a no drama person and I want to work with people who are like that," Leone told Indian Express.
And is she open to doing item numbers? "Well why not? Item numbers are important in Bollywood and they are fun to do," Leone said.
As an ardent admirer of actress Vidya Balan, Sunny believes to wants to take inspiration from her and do real acting beyond the glamourous image that female stars enjoy.
"I am aware that I have a particular image here. There is a perception about me. But I don't really worry about it. I am very confident about myself. I don't want to change anyone's mindset. I don't care what they think about me. But I am hopeful that it will change with time," she said. "I will change the image of me being a porn star in the people's minds," she added.
