Zoya on the lookout for a heroine opposite Ranveer

Recently rumours were rife, that Ranveer Singh has replaced Ranbir Kapoor in Zoya Akhtar's film due to the latters date problems.

As per Hindustan Times, Ranveer has already had meetings with Farhan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani (Excel Entertainment) and everything is in place for him to star in the movie.

Zoya wants to start the film at the end of the year, and it looks like due to date issues, Kareena Kapoor has also bowed out of the project.

Zoya Akhtar's movie is apparently a fantastic story about a dysfunctional family, and was said to be inspired from her relationship with brother, Farhan Akhtar.

We will have to wait and watch as to who gets cast alongside Ranveer....
