After a grand theatrical trailer release earlier this month which was graced by Sanjay Dutt’s family members, Priya Dutt and Kumar Gaurav, the filmmakers of ‘Policegiri’ unveiled the music of the film at Infiniti Mall - 2, Malad, Mumbai on Friday, June 14, at 7pm.
Present at the event were Bollywood’s top-rated singers Palak Muchaal and Aman Trikha, who performed live, while Ganesh Acharya had the crowd on their feet with Bollywood’s much-loved actress Prachi Desai.
But that’s not what stole the show! Producers, T.P. Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal, unveiled a first-of-its-kind campaign, ‘WRITE2SANJAY’ to send a direct message to the star of their film, Sanjay Dutt, from millions of his fans.
“We miss Sanjay Dutt terribly. We don’t want to trouble his family during such a time, to be a part of our film’s promotions. As filmmakers and a friend of the Dutts’, we will not play the sympathy card. The ‘WRITE2SANJAY’ campaign will travel, along with producer Rahul Aggarwal and star Prachi Desai on a 10-city tour across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune and other venues, to collect fan mail for Sanjay Dutt, from each of these destinations.
“However small or big your message to Mr. Dutt is, if you want to convey your feelings from the heart, we will fulfil your dream by taking the message, directly to him, in print.
