Well, we all know how religious Ekta Kapoor is, but to this extent. The latest is that as co-producer of the upcoming film Ek Thi Daayan, the lady is taking her lead pair Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi to the world famous Mahakumbh festival in Allahabad.
The duo will take the holy dip at the point of the Ganga sangam and have chosen the auspicious day of Mauni Amavasya on february 10th to the same. Incidentally, this date will be the busiest day for the event and more than 10 crore people have been estimated to make an appearance.
Emraan and Huma are slated to reach the venue on 8th as the city will have a bandh after and will use their free days to promote the film in the sector in some innovative ways. The team will reside in specially constructed tents on the banks of the Ganga, amid tight security.

The film which is being directed by Kannan Iyer and co-produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, also stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Kalki Koechlin and will release on April 18.
