Here is the review for the movie Hate Story 2. Watch out this space for more updates!
Rating:2/5 Review By:Suparno Site:Entertainment One India
While, Surveen with some hot skin-show and thrilling revengeful actions steals the maximum limelight, Jay did justice to whatever he had to offer in the film. Sushant Singh on the other hand as the bad man is impressive.
All in all, the film Hate Story 2 can be a good watch for its exotic romance and thrilling revenge.

Surveen Chawla is impressive in her first attempt in the movie. As a wounded lover seeking revenge she is good but in most of the scenes she just saves herself from giving a bad act.
Jay Bhanushali doesn’t have a meaty role in the flick but whatever he gets is disappointing. It seems he tries to imitate the king of romance-Shah Rukh Khan but fails badly in this attempt.
Sushant Singh is the show stealer. As an arrogant politician he sums the performance with a brilliant act minus his ‘baba ji kaha karte the gyan’.
Nothing works in favour of this flick and if you expect to see the sleazy avatar of Surveen apart from the song, you won’t get anything else.

The film belongs to Surveen. She's made a stunning transformation from playing the cutesy girl next door to becoming the badass chick no one wants to mess with. Writing is in sync with the genre and theme of the movie, while the action is overpowering and some times too much to handle. Jay Bhanushali despite his sketchy role is convincingly good and has a palpable chemistry with his co-star.
If you want to be tiltated and seduced into watching a woman oriented revenge drama with lots of skin show and a Sunny Leone item song, then Hate Story 2 is the ticket to buy.
Rating:3.5/5 Review By:Taran Adarsh Site:Bollywood Hungama
HATE STORY-2 is a riveting saga of a woman's vendetta against the man who wronged her. Additionally, the combo of skin show and melodious music add tremendous value to the project. This film has the potential to woo the masses and the youth, thus springing a big surprise at the ticket window!
Rating:1/5 Review By:Mohar Basu Site:Koimoi
Hate Story 2 is a shabbier, incoherent, clumsier and low of thrills sequel of its B-grade cheesy predecessor. Despite the grave flaws, Hate Story was atleast watchable. Hate Story 2 disappoints in every department. And though the lead lady shows some promise, the film doesn’t even rise up to mediocrity. It is crass and revels at it.
Rating:1.5/5 Review By:Shubhra Gupta Site: Indian Express
The sequel of the 2012 ‘Hate Story’ gives us a new vengeful woman. She’s been wronged by, who else, a man. And she will stop at nothing to get back at him.
‘Hate Story 2′ has Surveen Chawla playing the woman-on-a-mission with visible effort but not as much impact. Sonika ( Chawla) is charmingly termed ‘rakhail’ by Mandar Mhatre ( Singh), and kept terrorised and shackled. She tries to break free, and to breathe easy in the company of nice guy Akshay ( Bhanushali), but everywhere she turns, she finds her obsessive captor.

Hate Story 2 is a revenge drama on the lines of Rakesh Roshan's Khoon Bhari Maang and Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies. What it lacks is an A-grade star cast. Also, this one is slightly more predictable in pattern. However, the doses of erotica added to the screenplay just to give it that gleeful taste work well.

Hate Story 2 marks the Bollywood debut of Jay and Surveen. With a totally predictable story line and extremely illogical twists and turns, Hate Story 2 fails to entertain. The only saving grace, perhaps are the performances.Sushant Singh perfectly essays the role of the maniac that Mandar is, adding fun to his character.
Surveen, too, fits into her character perfectly throughout the movie. Other actors, however, are more irritating rather than being convincing. The inspector, for example, who sets out to help, tries too hard to act like a brooding cop but fails. Jay, doesn't have much of a role but is not believable enough even in the bits he's supposed to act.
Unlike the Paoli Dam-starrer prequel Hate Story, this one is not high on sex. All you have is Sunny Leone's item song Pink Lips so weirdly forced into the plot that it looks like an advertisement.
