Katrina's 'Bang Bang' suffered a long delay when her co-star Hrithik Roshan got severely injured in an action scene and had to undergo a brain surgery. Added to these woes, Katrina's 'Jagga Jasoos' opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor also suffered a setback when Ranbir's Jagga Jasoos dates clashed with his other movie, 'Bombay Velvet'.
While Kat had one release in 2013 - Dhoom 3, 2014 will bring one more Katrina Kaif movie - Bang Bang. All this in Katrina's career while others are spinning a web of hits. Has Katrina, therefore, become a victim of the situation and developed an OCD? A few incidents certainly suggest so.
During her Bang Bang shoot, we know that Katrina Kaif stuck to her guns about wearing a certain dress, even if it meant paying from her own pocket. Apparently, Katrina did not like the dresses shipped to her by a high profile Indian designer. The team therefore asked designer Gavin Miguel to make a gown instead, for a song sequence in the movie. Gavin did make two gowns for the song. However, as they cost more than Rs. 1 crore, the production house was hesitant. Katrina though, was adamant to wear nothing but the best and offered to pay for it herself.
A similar incident cropped up on the sets of Kabir Khan's 'Phantom'. Mumbai Mirror reported that Katrina Kaif, not liking a particular costume designed by the stylist, took it upon herself to shop for her outfits. Apparently, Kaif was escorted by good friend Ali Abbas Zaffar, and the two hunted for those dresses in Oxford Street until Kat was satisfied. Though Katrina refused this news, a source is reported to have confirmed the happenings to MM.
